[3rd Scene] [Video]
[When the feed comes on, Kuja is sitting in a room, Karma in a water-basin that's big enough for the fish to at least be in water nearby, Miranda the Pidgey napping on a counter; he's got a sprawl of berries, a couple potions, and a few assorted things picked up from the larger shops in the city where it looks like he's taking notes on trying to compound something.]
Good evening, Johto - I have a few questions, and as much as I would prefer solving this on my own, I find myself with a lack of background knowledge.
[He shifts the gear so that Karma, the Feebas, is a little more in view.]
I admit, I know very little about his species, but as far as I've known in the past, if a creature looks like it's a few moments from clawing out of a grave in search of the flesh of the living, it's generally a sign of ill health, which has me loathe to push the creature and aggravate any conditions. I'm well prepared to put time into finding a way to improve whatever is wrong... but it seems more prudent to swallow pride and ask about any pitfalls, or if anyone has any experience with similar creatures - the last thing I want to do is end up making things worse.
[And then, cutting that...]
[There's a second, private call to Zidane.]
Zidane? We've arrived in Violet.

...So the flair for overly-flowery language is a permanent thing. Am I going to need a 'plain language' translator for you? [She's teasing. And trying not to grin as she does it.]
Take it to a Pokemon Center. The nurses there should be able to tell you how to handle it.
Feebas learn a damaging attack in their teens; until then, you'll have to make it battle alongside another Pokémon. Their evolution also takes some work, though there might be an alternate way.
Sorry I lost track of you guys, dunno what happened. I remember being in Cherrygrove and then bam, right back in Violet.
...Or rather, some cave near Violet, but same idea.
[He is indeed headscratching over his first glitching experience. How downright bizarre]
[ video ]
[ ...because really. Zombie fish? ]
Apparently fish here can survive out of water. []
Hmm. I haven't been sending him out as yet since it seemed pointless, but if that's true then I might have to...
How do they come to evolve?
You were in - [] We must've just missed you.
Well, whatever just happened, at least it seems to have worked out. []
[ video ]
[]
If I were back home, I'd be leery of casting a Cure on it for fear it'd hurt the creature.
Seems that way. Least we're all in the same place now, right?
[So adatable, Kuja]
Starting with the basics is better than pulling random suggestions out of a crowd. The nurses know what they're doing most of the time.
[ video ]
I don't think there is a cure for that kind of...fish.
My apologies, I seem to have offended you somewhere. []
Then I'd imagine that unless we can gain access to one of these items, working to improve his condition might be the best option for that, as well.
We - should make some arrangement to meet. []
[]
[ video ]
Apparently a number of these creatures will "evolve" and change; that's currently what I'm hoping for.
...Or at least getting it looking a little less...dead.
[And it takes him a moment to respond to that, still trying to sort things out. But Kuja can't do any harm here, if that's his intent, right?
What would the point be?]
I'm outta work for the day, so I've got time.
[]
[]
I should get out today anyway ... would one of the parks be alright?
[Oh dear, getting pecked to death would not be pretty]
Yeah, I can meet you over there.
[]
Alright. I'll be out in a few minutes.
Forget it. If you don't remember it doesn't matter. [And it wasn't so much of an offense, but...well, she ain't saying.]
[Information gathering's been the name of his game since he got here, after all. He can't exactly mug ten-year-olds with a clear conscience]
Alright.

Do the names Cosmos or Chaos mean anything to you?
[]

I suppose that's the best I can do, then; there's not much that I can do about a possibility.
[]
[ video ]
Yeah, evolution might be your best bet. Although uh....I think most get uglier when they evolve, so....
In the meantime, Zidane doesn't take too long to arrive in the park, Cornelia hanging stubbornly from his belt. She still thinks she's his replacement tail]
Gonna wear a hole in the ground at this rate, aren't you?
[When in doubt, crack a joke]
