Hugging this character: Yes. Depending on context, there may be confusion/he may not be happy with random invasions of personal space if he's in a twitchy mood.

Fighting with this character: Yes. Be forewarned, as much of a ponce as he acts, he's a living weapon of mass destruction.

Warnings: He can be a manipulative bastard. He can also be incredibly catty and bitchy, and if someone pisses him off, he can hold a grudge for a good while even if he has mellowed out some since his initial arrival in the house. He has no shame, either, although he does have tact and a sense of dignity. He may be a corrupting influence on characters that're overly innocent or impressionable.

He has an ability that lets him get an idea of what people are capable of - basically going off the way the Scan ability worked in FFIX and that it seemed to be Genome trick; it's pretty much like a mental readout of what kind of power they have, about how much, resistances, things that'd affect them more, and what sort of creature they are. It won't work on everything and can be blocked!

He's also a very powerful magic user, even nerfed a bit; direct combat isn't really a first resort for him, but if it comes to a fight, I may be pinging you for what you are/aren't okay with.

For Psychics: Kuja will probably read a little odd; he is a bioengineered wmd, after all. He usually has some shielding, although passive effects will work without any question. Light/dark sensing is going to get muddled and confusing, most likely! He's a VERY powerful mage, even with trying to not be overly "loud" with it.

TBH always feel free to poke me and ask about him if your character's trying to read things.

1) Would the Scan ability work on your character? This is a bit hit or miss. The Ring can block out that sort of thing but doesn't always. So consider it an open book with a few pages blacked out. Likely enough to tell something's there but it's hiding.


2) If yes, what kind of information would it get? Bakura's human with bits of his soul just not being there, claimed by something bigger and powerful. The Ring would be in stealth mode but leave a general aura of black magic. Almost anything's fair game, really.

2) If yes, what kind of information would it get? Human with something like telepathy. Right now there's also the house hellhound modifications. So she'll read as not entirely human for now.

1) Would the Scan ability work on your character? He has an amulet that protects him and he's learned how to protect himself from magical encounters, but other than that, he doesn't really have protection there. I would like him to have a vague realization that it happened. There is a scan-type tech in Chrono Trigger and I don't think it quite works on him (but he *is* a boss for those battles).

2) If yes, what kind of information would it get? He's Human, very powerful Shadow mage. He doesn't have the typical Shadow Affinity / Light Sensitivity. His amulet can totally show up.

1) Would the Scan ability work on your character? Probably, this could also be used to pick out which is the 'real' body, if he's employing clones.

2) If yes, what kind of information would it get? Human. While he's not a Nobody anymore, he can still use Illusions & minor elemental magic standard to the KH!Universe. He draws on power for most of these from Darkness...along with some mirroring fighting tactics that might register to Kuja as closer to that of a Blue Mage.

Ami knew Kuja at a former game. He found her darkness amusing and fun to draw out and play with, just as he manipulated everyone else around him. He also once killed her: During a fairy tale themed dream, he was cast as a Bluebeard type, and she was curious as always... She never knew his whole story, but he talked somewhat regretfully about Zidane once or twice.

So the basic question is what would you prefer she remembered or didn't of that?

I am okay with her remembering all of it! Honestly, it'll probably confuse him more than anything/get him curious. xD

2) If yes, what kind of information would it get? Sephiroth would read as not entirely human. How his abilities would read could probably go a number of ways. Physically he exceeds human potential by a considerable degree and scan would probably pick up on the types of materia that he carries with him.

2) If yes, what kind of information would it get? I think Kisuke would read as an odd human. Shinigami aren't technically undead, but they aren't really human either. There would power around this guy, but not magical and pretty strong. Possibly even sensing Benihime though that might be a modly question since even Urahara has a hard time sensing/using her in the house

2) If yes, what kind of information would it get? Human, with lots of asterisks. Asch is kind of the human incarnation of a not!god of sound, memory, and healing, so he has strong magical affiliation with all of those things.

But no more seriously: that he's a monster, that he's got magic, that he seems to be really weak but there's some sort of quirk to it. Weaknesses are pretty irrelevant, considering one hit will dust him.
