[Anyone out around the festival in the evening in Violet might notice someone tall, slim, in a silver and lavender kimono, silver-opal hair partly done up, full makeup, and preened to the hilt; a slightly less dead looking than usual Feebas carried in one arm with gold ribbons running through his “fin”, while a Pidgeotto hops along behind.]

[Yes, Kuja’s out enjoying the festivities, a touch more on the “trap” side than usual, and in an unusually good mood; feel free to go bother him, mistake him for a lady, etc!]

[L says so in an absentminded, cheerful tone, before taking pause and seeming to reconsider his abrupt-sounding sentence.]

Among other things, it's a festival for wishes... something I'd imagine everyone has.

Wishes? That's rather fanciful. It's mostly for children, I imagine.

Really? I've found it to be more of a human condition, to want something more than what one has, even go to great lengths to try to achieve some "wish". []

I always thought that what differentiated a "wish" from a "plan" or a "goal" was the fact that wishes are generally somewhere near the border of "unattainable."

Usually, but depending on the wish, those boundaries can end up being very fluid things - all it might take is a small change in circumstances for the "impossible" to be "attainable".

No world operates on extremes and general information alone; of course there are always exceptions. That hardly means that such exceptions are the norm.

Perhaps you're taking "wishes" too extemporaneously? After all, depending on one's situation, a "Wish" could be as simple as "I want my family to stay together like this", or as ephemeral as "I want power" or "I want to decide my own fate". It's a rare person that doesn't desire something they're not sure how to attain.

What are you wishing for today?

[It's a bit of a shot in the dark... but L happens to be one of those people who just doesn't wish for things he's not almost positive he can attain.]

Certainly not quite that shallow, but I'm afraid my aspirations are a little more complicated, far simpler, and quite private. []

But even the most tedious riddles give one something to work with. You've just been intentionally vague and inane. I'm ready to just say you're hiding a penis under your kimono and call it quits.
