[2nd Scene] [Action for Cherrygrove]

[This is a joint post between Ritz and Kuja; replies will come from either or both, if there’s a preference just specify in subject line!]

[The Cherrygrove Pokémon center is going to get an Entrance, courtesy of two certain new arrivals to Johto who’ve been stranded on Route 29, delayed by the storms and water swarms, and are now very much not their usual selves – cleaning supplies have run out, the weather has had a nice laugh at their otherwise vaguely decent camping setup, and they both look a bit more dirty, frazzled, and ragged than usual; Kuja’s changed out of his usual armor and silks are stained, although not as much as they probably should be, and is now wearing although he does seem in weirdly better shape than Ritz by this point.]

Oh sweet civilization, how beautiful you are – I think we’ve discovered a wondrous palace-

BATH. NOW.

[That small exchange is all that’s overheard before there’s doors shutting and they become shameless mooches on the showers. It may be nearly impossible to interrupt this agenda.]

[A while later, Kuja’s the first one out, still fussing a little at his one change of clothes, but at least in a less “obstruct my path and die” mood visibly -]

AAAAUUUGHHHH!!!!!

[Although apparently the same can’t be said of Ritz, who has her hair in a towel as she emerges and an epic Scowl of Death.]

Seeing what the weak ones are capable of, I'm amazed things are as peaceful as they seem to be.

It's not always like this, at least that's what I've heard.

Either it's not as bad as it could be, or they do a remarkable job of rebuilding and recovering, if major disasters are common occurrences. [] Although I imagine how common these creatures are might make it easier to mitigate damage - not only preventing excess but turning some of their power towards rebuilding.

People have mentioned incidents here and there to me, but it doesn't sound like the biggest problem's property damage.

[] Hm...I imagine the usual rules of them being the ones fighting in any conflict have a measure of protection for the more fragile humans in mind... []

But then, it's hardly the time for being that morbid.

[There's a long pause before he says this, and his tone suggests he either doesn't believe it, doesn't want to find out, or both]

Supposedly, people can't die here.

That would explain how peaceful things are even with such potential for harm, if it is true.

The way this place works doesn't make much sense to me, in some respects. On the one hand, it could be true, but on the other...

I have my doubts anybody'd wanna find out.

[] It's not worth testing; there's few enough "second chances" as it is, with what the price would be if it proved wrong.

Yeah, plus it'd give others a lotta grief.
