[The feed is very obviously accidental – and from the angle, the pokegear's clipped to the belt of someone who's pacing around the south edge of New Bark Town, quite agitated and apparently looking for something.]

[Audible, and visible here and there, is an exceptionally pathetic Feebas flopping along behind, trying to keep up as best it can as a fish out of water.]

[After a minute of THAT, whoever it is stops, and turns towards the fish, who stops at their feet, looking positively pitiful. It's hard to tell what it's trying to convey, pitiful just seems to be its natural state.]

How did you even – what bird dropped you here? [There's a long moment of silence as he's pondering the fish, and the fish is looking up at him... then a long-suffering sigh.]

Here. [He's scooping up the fish at arm's length, walking over to the coast edge, and …. depositing it in the water. Then turning to walk away.]

[It's quiet behind him for a moment – but only because the Feebas is swimming back to get a good head start, launching out of the water to land not far behind him and continue flopping along behind – at which he freezes, and turns back to stare at it again.]

Oh for the love of – how hard were you dropped?

[Then follows attempt number two at returning the fish to the water. And walking away. And the fish launching itself out of the water again.]

….......................This has to be some kind of a joke.

[OOC: For those in New Bark Town, he can be found on the south edge of town, near the water, seriously puzzled by his seemingly suicidal starter and trying to figure out how the fish hasn't suffocated yet on land. It probably won't take him very long to figure out the Pokégear once there's a video call.]

[After a couple minuets more struggle Zack had the Skitty in his pokeball.]

Sorry bout that, I don't know exactly what got into Sephiroth...

[He finally turns his whole attention to his gear, absently dabbing at scratch marks on his face.]

Well they do seem to come out of no where and surprise people with something new or unexpected that they do.

[He realizes that the person he is talking to is an attractive lady, or so he thinks.]

So, um... how are you doing? You... need help with anything?

Then it seems they're quite intelligent creatures, I would imagine. []

[] Ah, disoriented to be sure - it is jarring, suddenly finding oneself lost in a strange world and powerless...

Yeah, they show plenty of signs of intelligence, and lots of personality to each one.

[Could he be Zack without the puppy?] Ah! Yes... it is quite unnerving when what used to be the simplest of tasks is no longer even possible. [He nods sagely, a slightly worried look on his face.] Do you have someone to travel with? It's not necessarily dangerous here, but it's always better to travel with others.

Aww, how cute, you're trying to be the knight in shining armor!]

There is a young girl I met here who also just arrived who's offered to help... [

[What is a hero without some beauty to rescue after all?]

That is good. I have found that traveling with others makes things much easier. You know, if you were to make good time you might even be able to catch up with me and my group, I'm sure they wouldn't mind you joining us, if you wanted that is. [This is one of those times you wished you had a way to travel faster than you do right now, so that he could go get this beauty and get back to his group in no time.]

It would be most appreciated, indeed - although, I did hear from my brother who is apparently here; I may be meeting up with him - but perhaps our paths might cross anyway?
